  • We have a lot of experience in industrial plants. Whether it is installing a 4000-amp service to wiring multi-million dollar machinery lines, we can and have done it. We worked at Deerfield Plastics and then the new Pliant Coorporation for 15 yrs or so working on all kinds of machinery and service work. We’ve performed work at high tech and secure companies like Telaxis and Millitech.
Commercial
  • We have a large amount of commercial accounts! Whether it is installing new service, wiring apartments or hotels or stores, simply doing service/repair work and preventive maintance or performing a lighting retrofit to save energy- we can do it! At the beginning of Tim’s career, he spent years doing lots of work at Mount Snow & Haystack Ski Areas working on ski lifts and rewiring lodges and condos. We have wired nursing homes and have lots of experience with medical building wiring.
Residential

  • Electrical Service Upgrades

    • Do you still have old fuses powering your circuits? Is your panel box or meter socket rusted or corroded? Is the outside service cable feeding your house cracked and falling apart? Look at some of our before & after photos of some services we’ve done. It’s amazing some of the things we’ve seen and that there was never a fire!

    • If you’re not sure if your service is safe, we can come inspect your service, check all connections, and let you know what we find.

    • It’s a good idea to have your electrical service connections checked every couple years because over time connections can get loose.

    • We get many calls regarding Federal Pacific (FPE) panels. Insurance companies seem to be getting stricter and stricter and forcing new homeowners to upgrade these panels or they will not insure the new home. We can give you more information on this if you have a Federal Pacific (FPE) Panel in your building or home.

  • New Wiring/ Building Renovations

    • Building a new home or remodeling an old one? Adding a new kitchen or spare room? Let us discuss what we can do for you! We work with many other building contractors and we will work with you in designing anything from a simple project to your Dream home or office!

    • We get many calls regarding knob & tube wiring. Insurance companies seem to be getting stricter and stricter and forcing new and existing homeowners to upgrade the wiring in their house. It is now illegal to add more insulation to your attic if you have knob & tube wiring because you would be increasing the risk of fire. Removing all the knob & tube wiring in a home and replacing it with new wiring is not an inexpensive job! You could spend twice the amount to wire an old house than if you wired a new house because in a new house, the walls are open. In an old house, all the wires will need to be fished in, which takes more time. There is often patching to do when working with plaster and lathe walls. We have contractors that can work behind us making these patch repairs, if needed.
  • Whole House Surge Protection

    • Whole house surge protection is getting more and more popular with so many electronics around now-a-days. Electronics are typically very sensitive to surges in electricity. There doesn’t have to be a lightening storm to get a surge in power! There can literally be hundreds of “pings” in your electrical system each day.

    • “Pings” are very small surges of power that may not have an immediate effect on your electronics, but over time they will affect the lifespan of your expensive electronics.

    • A whole house surge protector will help protect your building’s circuits from surges. They will be able to handle hundreds of “smaller” surges but usually just 1 large surge. When a very large surge hits you building, you may have to replace your surge protector; however, the cost of replacing the surge protector is far less than the cost of replacing your major appliance or even your insurance deductible.

    • Some surge protectors even have a warranty that will pay for damaged appliances if your surge protector doesn’t protect them from the surge.

    • Even with a whole house surge protector at your main panel, it is still recommended that you use secondary surge strips at your computer and entertainment stations.

    • Beware: Don’t buy cheap surge protectors. The old saying “You get what you pay for” holds true for most items, especially specialty devices like this. A $5 “Wal-Mart” surge strip will not do the same as an $80-200 professional surge plug strip!

    • We have also installed power conditioners that keep your power at the same level at all time, also important for electronics and of course UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supplies) are great for computer systems and servers. It is important to size these types of devices according to the load they will be powering!

    • As each application is different, let us help you decide which model/ grade surge protector best fits your needs.
  • Data/ Internet/ Cable TV/ Communication

    • Need an extra phone, internet, cable TV, or other type of data jack installed? Many people don’t realize that electricians usually run all the communication lines inside your home, not the phone or cable TV company. The phone company and cable TV companies also will not fish wires into your walls. They typically will run the wires on the surface of your inside or outside walls. They also normally charge more to do less of a service than an electrician.

    • We also have service techs than can set up your home, office or business on a network so all your computers and equipment can work together.
  • Service Calls

    • Have a small job that may even take 5 minutes? Could be a simple troubleshooting problem to installing a separate circuit for a new appliance, we can help. Though we have minimum service call rates, there is no job too small! Give Paciorek Electric, Inc. a call!

    • Lights flickering, circuit not working, no power? We have experience from encountering numerous problems we’ve had to troubleshoot throughout the years for our customers. We also have many different types of testing equipment to aid us in troubleshooting. Give us a call and we’ll figure out how to resolve your problem!

    • Worried about being without power and want a backup solution? We can install wiring and provide a generator system to give you power when there are outages! Be the only person on the block with power during an outage! We’ve wired generators for town halls, schools, public safety buildings and of course, houses.     • Want a thorough inspection an electrical system in either a property you own, a property you want to sell, or a property you want to buy? We will examine the whole system and provide you with a detailed report. We can then provide you with a proposal to do any work needed if you’d like. Please call for current rates. Rates depend on type and size of building.

      • The home inspection will consist of the following:

      • Test all GFCI outlets and breakers.
      • Test various outlets to see if the polarity is correct and they are grounded.
      • Check and tighten all connections in your breaker or fuse panel.
      • Inspect your outside service cable and meter socket for damage.
      • Check all grounding and bonding connections for your main service.
      • Test all smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors and replace batteries in all units, if applicable. Batteries should be replaced in all units on an annual basis.
      • Make a detailed list of all repairs made, violations and problems found, suggestions, and options.
